Ask An Ornithologist

Do you have questions about birds? Ask An Ornithologist!

Join us for a 90-minute LIVE question-and-answer session with the Cornell Lab of Ornithology's Dr. Kevin J. McGowan.

Dr. McGowan is a professional ornithologist educator, and avid birder. Although crows are his research specialty, he enjoys everything about birds, from behavior to physiology, from ecology to evolution, and from zooarchaeology to species identification. Any question on any topic dealing with birds is fair game during this event, although questions with broad appeal are more likely to be addressed. Dr. McGowan will answer as many questions as possible during the 90-minute session.

You may submit your questions in advance or ask them live during the “Ask An Ornithologist” webinar.

Joining Dr. McGowan will be webinar support staffer Lee Ann van Leer, and special guest Marc Devokaitis, the Lab’s Public Information Specialist who answers the many thousands of questions that come to CornellBirds@cornell.edu email.

The webinar will take place at 8:30 PM Eastern (New York) Time, August 26, 2015. Cost for Lab members is $9.99; $12.99 for nonmembers. An archived recording of the webinar will be made available the day after the event. Access to the recording is included in the cost of the webinar, but the recording will also be available for purchase too.
